How I Received the Holy Spirit Essay - 769 Words

Seeing eight of my brothers and sisters super excited made me disappointed about myself. I remeber those days when my elders were coming home with smiles on their faces which made me cry, I was really happy for them and was wishing I could share their happiness as well but, I could not. I did not had what they had. I didnt even know what it was, that they are really happy about. Finally I asked them why they were so happy about and they told me they got a gift from God himself. I couldn’t understand how that was possible. I wanted to be happy too so I just wished that I will receive that gift from God as well. In the beginning of November 2011, my sunday school teacher Yuriy prepared a lesson for us students about Holy Spirit. He also†¦show more content†¦I thought it was useless. A year and four months passed, since that day when we were kindly rejected on our wish. That day in March the 8th, my brother told me that anyone who would want Holy Spirit are welcome to get it, next Friday the pastors and the youth are willing to pray for us. I told my brother Ivan and my cousin Natasha about it, so we would be ready on Friday to get it. I was a nervous wreck the whole week, I thought I might be rejected again, that I might not get it, but I prayed so hard so I still had some hopes and faith that I will get in on March 15, 2013. Finally that Friday came, during sunday school, we asked our teachers, Mr. and Mrs. Kolesnikov, to leave Sunday School for like 30 minutes. We did not tell them that we will go to pastors to confess our sins. I was the very first to go up to them and called my old teacher Yuriy to call his dad, who was the pastor, to pray with us. When he heard the news his whole face lit up, and he went to get his dad, because we were so nervous, especiall y me, who was afraid to be rejected, but praise the Lord, I wasn’t. So all of us were NOT rejected. After some time, we went back to our class, I felt really light and happy that I was not rejected. But then some thoughts came and I thought that God won’t give me the gift, but I had a lot of faith. So after Sunday School we finally told our class that we might get Holy Spirit, and invited them to go confess and have Holy Spirit too.Show MoreRelatedAn Open Mind As The Holy Spirit1232 Words   |  5 Pages The Holy Spirit is another Comforter, Teacher, and Reminder. Health Care And The United States - 1265 Words

Health care has come a very long way since the earlier years, and still has a lot of improving to do. Health care can be very complex and frustrating, but has become a bit more manageable compared to the past. Hospitals today are a lot different then how they were years ago. Many hospitals are making medical advances to help people live longer, healthier lives. Health care is one of the most important benefits to a persons’ life. There are so many things affecting the health of people all around the world, both positive and negative. Canada and the United States health care systems are not perfect and needs some change for the better of the people. Healthcare in these countries are affected by differences in universal coverage, gender and†¦show more content†¦and Schmid, A. 2008).† In contrast, the United States established the Affordable Care Act (ACA), which was implemented to improve access to health, improve quality of health, and make health care more affor dable. Historically, Americans were treated with medicinal herbs and anecdotal information in their homes. Doctors were sole decision makers about admissions, length of stay, resource use, and referrals. The U.S health care system changed by having hospital fiscal penalties for lengths of stay, admissions require payer approval, and readmissions carry penalties. As well as, people are getting treated in hospitals, primary care office, and rehabs, instead of their homes. Having access to hospitals, and getting treated with these new drugs and new technologies, one would think that everyone would get the same kind of health care. However, gender and ethnic disparities contribute to many individuals having access to health care. Access to health is the determinant factor of the health disparities. â€Å"In the United States disparities are well documented in minority populations such as African Americans, Native Americans, Asian Americans and Hispanics, all of which constitute twen ty eight percent of the population (McHenry, G.).† Ethnic disparities, indicators include social justice, economic realities, shifting census, and disease burden. Latinos tend to have low access to care and language barriers effecting both access and quality care. Studies show that

Business with Mobile Computing-Free-Samples-Myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Reseach the Opportunities Making Business with Mobile Computing. Answer: The business Research was done on the opportunities making business with Mobile computing. Mobile computing is the emerging technology which allows the transmission of data and voice through electronic devices without any physical connection. This is a very interesting topic and has provided with many insights which proves how it is beneficial for the businesses of today. My individual reflection journal with the completion of this business research is given below: Week 1: This week is dedicated for the planning. Planning is very important to conduct the whole research process successfully (Gristy, 2015). I arranged a meeting with my mentor to learn about the formats and processes to be followed in the research. My mentor also guided me for the setting of objectives and questions of the research topic. They guided me how I should take the research further and earn good grades in my course. I scheduled my research which developed time management skills in me which is very fruitful for the personal and professional life of an individual. Week 2: The plans made are implemented in this week. The questions are made and the objectives of the research are identified. The research is the process which needs analysis skills. These skills are used throughout the research project. In this week I planned about the sources of data collection because it is very important to collect the data only from the genuine sources and the ones which are related to the research. I planned that the data will be collected from primary and secondary sources and identified the most appropriate sources out of the available ones. This taught me how to analyse the best out of the available resources and how to make best use of them (Ryan ebrary, 2012). Week 3 and 4: In week 3, I collected the data from primary sources. For this, I learned to prepare the survey questionnaire and communicated with various professionals in the field of mobile computing to know about its role in business. This has encouraged me to talk to people and improved my communication skills. This has also brought an improvement in my interpersonal skills and motivated me to go out in the market and face different challenges. Talking to people is not an easy task; it needs courage to handle different behaviour of people (Carrington, Suzanne Selva, 2010). In week 4, I referred different secondary sources like articles and other internet sources to collect the information about the topic and analyse them to know the actual opportunities business have with mobile computing. This step has provided me with immense knowledge and information. This has cultivated a habit of knowing more and grasping knowledge in me. I started craving for more and more knowledge so that I could gain more about the topic and can make my research better. The collection of data has made me more active than before and I learned how to manage time as per the requirements of the project. This would help me not only for completing this project on time but also in future to accomplish the tasks on time (Roberts, 2017). Week 5: In this week, I learned how to analyse the huge data which has been collected in the previous weeks. The data is been collected will be analysed through various statistical tools. I learned how understanding should be developed on the data and what all implications this data have on the research. This has also developed many project management skills in me. It developed time management, best resource utilisation, good management, effective organisation and delegation of work in me. These all qualities are required by a good manager in the highly competitive corporate field. If these skills will be developed properly then it will help me to function effectively in future (Lewis, 2013). Week 6: In this week, I arranged all the data and analysis of it. Discussions are been carried on the final analysis and findings which will make the conclusions for the research and will resolve the problems of the research. The research is a process which teaches many qualities required for a successful professional life and a good personal life. This has taught a good problem solving skill and critical analysis of the data and findings. The research taught me how I can research more about the topic and developed innovative thinking and development in me (Forrest, 2008). To summarise, I can say that this research process has gave me a good learning experience which would help me in completing my course successfully with good marks. This would also help me in accomplishing my career goals. The theoretical knowledge learned in the whole process is applied practically and these insights will be used in future by applying the innovative ideas and skills in the job (Lucas, 2012). This will make me competent for a getting a good position in my job. I heard people, listened to their views and ideas, I saw people growing with the mobile computing by grabbing the opportunities. These all activities contributed to my learning process and this business research is very useful for my learning process. It is because the experiences I gained during this process can be used in future. Like, the during data collection I met various people, leaders and owners of businesses and I learned how to take your job role to a new level by handling various resources efficientl y. I learned how these skills can take a business to a good position in the global competitive business environment. This research process was a great inspiration for me as it introduced me to many people and made me able to take up different challenges which not only improved my thinking but also improved my life as a professional. I am now able to present myself and my research confidently in the front of evaluators and will be able to score good marks and comments from them. This project will also help me to get a good job after my studies (Toros, K Medar, 2015). References Carrington, Suzanne B Selva (2010). We Live In A Society That Drinks Heavily, And This Influences Teens. M

We live in a society that drinks heavily, and this influences teens. Most Americans use alcohol to celebrate wedding anniversaries, to welcome the New Year, and to enjoy many other special events. Alcohol is a legal drug for people over the age of twenty-one. By the time most teens reach senior high school, nearly all will have faced a choice about whether or not to take a drink. Although this drug is illegal for teenage use a large percentage of teens use alcohol. Many teens die in automobile accidents, which could have prevented if they had chosen to say no. Each year it is blame in the deaths of more than four thousand teens (Claypool, p. 42). No crime kills more teenagers in America. Kids who are drinking regularly in high school seem to be fully aware of the penalties and laws against underage drinking, possession but don't care. They agree that driving while intoxicated is a key role in fatal car accidents, yet they still do it. Many teens also believe cold showers and coffee can sober up a person that is drunk Teens may drink for many different reasons. A big reason for teens to start to drink is because of problems in their family life. Teens could have a bad relationship with their parents or their parents could get in a fight or even get a divorce and thid could cause a drinking problem among their child. Many experts agree that the main reason teens are becoming alcoholics is low self-esteem. Sometimes these children have been neglected or abused which makes them feel unwanted or they have been pressured and feel worthless if they fail. They have to deal with problems that he is too immature to handle, or worries about problems, which are problems at all. Many kids drink to make them feel older and mature. It makes you more confident and sociable. Another cause of teenage drinking is escape from stress of school if they are overwhelmed with work or that they get really worried over slipping grades and that they just need to relax. Drinking will only make things worse. Many teens drink because of peer pressure or just to fit in. Kids may think that if they drink then they will fit in with the crowd and become more popular. Kids spend most of their spare time partying. The kid who doesn't take something to drink has a dozen friends all over him. This may be true for the first couple of times that you drink, but it begins to become a habit and soon you are not only drinking at parties but also drinking alone and that is a sign you need help. Teens drink for the effect. To get high, to rebel, to alter their feelings of their environment, if only temporary. One of the main reasons kids drink for effect is the freedom it gives them. A problem of drinking for effect is whatever age the child is when he starts depending on the effect of alcohol, that's the age they are when they have overcome there drinking problem. In other words, when a child is fourteen and starts drinking to become more social and relaxed, when he is eighteen he will still be fourteen socially (Coffey, p.62). Many adults fail to take teenage alcohol problems seriously because they believe that their teens are too young to worry about. To them the word alcoholic makes them think of a malnourished person who lives on the street. Many young people live in families where the use of alcohol is a part of normal life. Many parents who are drinkers themselves look past teenage drinking. They see drinking as a normal activity and part of growing up. Children of alcoholics are a high-risk group for alcoholism (Claypool, p.46). They are more likely to follow in their parent's footsteps. Few parents encourage their child to drink, but few see nothing wrong with occasionally drinking. Some parents are relieved when teens drink rather than smoke pot or do other drugs. Only when adults start regarding alcohol as a toxic drug can an effective alcohol education program for America's youth begin. By the time students are in seventh
